Presenting a whole bunch of characters from the magical detective series Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. The drawings above depict the important characters from the third and fourth book, The Faceless Ones and Dark Days.

The symbols behind each member of the magical community represent their magical discipline. If it isn't explicitly stated in the book what they are, Elemental or Adept, then I'm just going to assume that they are an Elemental but I'll also add something else like a symbol that represents their occupation or passion.
With Clarabelle though, I've always suspected that she was born into a magical family but it was decided pretty early on that it would be dangerous for someone with her attention span to practice magic... so I chose to put a cuckoo on a cloud for her background!
