YES! My first Snake costume upload on DA. Just so you know, Im not suppose to be Naked Snake, Im infact Solid Snake wearing an old FoxHound uniform. See, this is what I think the first uniforms could have looked like, since Big Boss created the unit, they could have very well used uniforms that looked like the one he had during Operation Snake Eater. Anyway, this is what Im going to be wearing in the fan film Im making. Its takes place between MGS1 and 2, when Snake and Otacon are first forming PhilanthropyRelated content

Its coming along very slowly. We have a pretty bad lack of people on hand, and working around everyone's schedules makes it even worse. Also finding locations to film is becoming an issue, so I'm not about to put a release date on it right now

with fan films your allowed a lot more creative freedom, with costumes and stuff. from which i can see that your doing, it will look awesome.
im in the planning phase of a series of fan films spanning the entire mg time line, adding a few things i feel necessary, not like there will be a lot, since the story is simply amazing as it is, im not George Lucus after all. i hope to be a lot more profitiant in computer graphics by the time its done, so i can have a decent looking metal gear on screen.

I've never really added the whole cost together. Lemme see..
Camo-$5 for the shirt(thrift store), pants $15 used(Army surplus) backpack$20, canteen $5, I made the harness myself, other parts I'm not too sure how mucuh they were. I guess the whole thing cost about $70. I bought it in pieces, so it wasn't too bad.

OMG!!!! YOU LOOK EXACTLY LIKE HIM!! I've never played MGS, but I'm practically watching somebody else play through the whole game on YouTube done by some Japanese person, and it has an AMAZING story line!! (The game is dialogued/subbed in English). Go look it up on YouTube if you're interested in how the game goes. I'm addicted, but there's like 12 parts to it, and they're each around 30 minutes long...so me and my bros. are watching it on full-screen on the Wii, and it's just like a movie! One of the best movies I've ever seen, for that matter! XP

Well well well... Let's see. This costume can't be weared by Snake between MGS 1 and 2. You'll say, im a retard, but look, in MGS3, when you get the USSR prototype costume, if you call Sigint, Snake will say the Fox should use it for their mission. So, and because Big Boss is the "Dad" of Snake, Snake have an advanced prototype costume, not a camo. And by the way, Snake learn how to punch someone, not knocking him down or kill him with a knife. His weapon is the Socom, and you are holding a Colt.
So, i can't tell you to wear your stuff off, you can't say that its Solid Snake, thats all. You are cosplaying Big Boss with this, try to shoot your eye also
But, after all, nice costume. I can't say "Pwarf, this costume is ugly that he look like Raziel omg laaal lmao", because i'll have to found a camo like this for my airsoft team x)

It's a black under armor shirt, like football players wear under their pads. Mine is a knock off one I got from Walmart for like $12

Yeah I can see their points, but they are wrong as BIG BOSS wear the USSR gear and the develops future prototypes. So hence forth the US Government wouldnt have access to it until Big Boss was defeated which happened in MG 2 hence Solid Snake only wore the Stealth suit in MGS1 onwards
So that BANNED (Stupid person) is effectively dumb, also the design of Solid Snake on boxart is FINAL there supposed "truth" blabber is wrong if Kojima and his artists damn well say it is... haha

they didn't use those fucking uniforms when big boss made outer heaven, they had the exact same apparell as Pliskin. not to mention, big boss has his CQC advanced suit which is the finished version of the USSR prototype in portable ops.
also, this is taking place between mgs1 and mgs2? what the fuuuuck? why the fuck would solid snake wear a CQC suit when he doesn't even know how to do CQC? he should be wearing the naval suit he had in MGS2, which is also an upgrade from his thermal suit in mgs1.

Dude Snake would know CQC, only by the time of the Shadow Moses incident CQC has evolved into CQB. Close Quarters Combat->Close Quarters Battle. If you don't believe me try calling Master Miller in MGS1, he'll tell you about it. And no, it's not the same uniform Pliskin wore. you can even tell on the little 8 bit sprite of Snake that he has his sleeves rolled up higher and he's got some type of harness. You're probably thinking of how he looks on the boxart, well I wouldn't even take that into account since hes not even wearing a bandanna. I pretty much combined gear from MG, MG2 and MGS3. Plus, that portable ops suit looks more advanced than anything Solid Snake ever wore before MGS1, like its 20 years ahead of its time. No reason to get all anal about it man, I just put a costume together with what I had. I've revised it since that pic was taken, if you look at my gallery check out the pic called movie test and you'll see what I mean.

CQB and CQC are not the same thing. CQC is never talked about in MGS1. Also, it IS the same uniform. Kojima said it himself, and it's highly obvious. He DOES have a bandanna in MG1 and MG2, try actually playing the games first.
