Description
So it's been a while since I uploaded a weapon, so I decided to make a good ol' fashioned assault rifle. Finally decided to come up with a name for some of the factions and organisations that use these weapons in this little headcanon of mine, the UCSS are basically the galactic equivalent of the UN for the one person that probably actually reads/gives a crap about these little descriptions of mine. Any feedback and opinions welcome!

A joint venture among the member states of the UCSS (The United Council of Star Systems) the Betau is currently only deployed by the most elite units such as Orbital Drop Commandos (ODC) and SABO (Special Assignments and Black Ops) teams. Featuring advanced targeting systems that compensate for differing gravitational and atmospheric conditions, allowing the user to drop into any planet without needing to worry about the effects the changing gravitational pull and atmosphere will have on the bullet. This is especially useful among the ODCs, as it allows for faster deployment and easier general maintenance of the weapon. Due to the cutting edge technology the weapons are not yet available for frontline troops, although the weapon is currently hailed as a remarkable success amongst field testers and is hoped to come into general service within the next 20 years.
