Description He saw Pewdie in the kitchen, getting a small glass of water. Cry swallowed hard and stepped into the kitchen, Pewdie turning at the sound of his footsteps.
“Oh, what are you doing up, Cry?” Pewdie asked quietly with a gentle smile. Cry didn’t answer, only walked forward. Pewdie blinked and frowned, putting the glass down.
“Cry, what the he-“
His words were cut short, and Cry leaned up and forward, and forced their lips together.

Cry's heart could've pounded out of his chest, the shock of what he was doing just getting to him. He, being the stupid, jealous idiot he was, was now kissing Pewdie.
"Mph!" Pewdie grunted, shoving the brunette away from him. Cry stumbled slightly, but caught himself and looked up at Pewdie, his face twisted in surprise and... Slight disgust?
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Pewdie asked, though it was clear he was trying to keep his voice down due to Marzia, his current girlfriend, sleeping right down the hall. "I- I was just..." Cry stuttered, his face deep crimson as he looked up at the Swede, blue eyes wide, though the words wouldn't come to him for him to continue.
Pewdie wiped his mouth with the back of his band, looking right back at the American. "... What was that?" he asked, his eyes still wide though he was audibly calmer.
Though Cry couldn't speak; His mouth wouldn't allow it, lest a broken sob come out instead. He was already heart-broken before, but the disgust and disdain shown on the male's face just made it fall apart in his chest.
Pewdie spoke up once more. "... Cry, I'm straight. I mean, I do have a girlfriend..." he said, motioning towards the hall for emphasis.
Not before, you didn't.
"I-I know, I just..." Cry said, then took a heavy sigh. "I don't know what I was thinking..." It wasn't a complete lie, it just... Happened. Blind rage and jealousy go to him, he supposed.
Although if that hadn't been the case, Marzia wasn't around... It would have happened most likely much more smooth than that.
"Cry... I think it's time for you to go home."
And if his heart hadn't fallen apart before, he supposed it did then. "I think you're just confused... Some time away from me, maybe, might help..." Pewdie added quietly, a hint of hesitation in his voice.
He didn't want his best friend to leave, but... This just wouldn't be right if he stayed. Cry nodded gently, pushing up his glasses before they fell from his nose. "I understand... I'll book a flight home tonight. I'm so sorry." he murmured, his voice low in misery-- The only Pewdie could detect, anyhow.
Even though Cry didn't wear his pokerface mask in reality, he had one on, in a way. Not wanting to show emotion, just so people wouldn't know how he really felt.
Pewdie nodded in agreement. "That sounds fine... I'm sorry, Cry. I really don't want you to go, but... I just don't think things would be right if you stayed." Cry simply nodded once more, before moving out of the kitchen and down the hall once more.
Pewdie swallowed, running a hand down his face as he heard Cry's bedroom door shut. "Dammit..." he hissed to himself, tightening his jaw and biting his bottom lip.
Cry- his best friend, there when Pewdie had been experiencing the loss of Marzia -had just kissed in the middle of his kitchen, beloved girlfriend right down the hall...
Why did he enjoy it so much?

~~~~~~~~~~
Cry swallowed hard as he sat down in his bed, pulling his laptop from his bed to find a flight that left hopefully in the morning.
One part of him wanted to just leave forever, and never talk to Pewdie again, embarrassment and shame and sadness snaking its way through his system.
Though another part wanted to stay, beg Pewdie not to make him go... That part didn't know what he wanted, really. What then? He didn't know.
Cry sighed shakily and found a website, daring to feel relief when he found tickets that left for eleven that morning.
It was incredibly short notice, but it seemed luck was- or wasn't -on his side tonight. He bought the tickets and shut his laptop quietly, sliding down into bed once more.
After a while of silence, he heard soft footsteps walk down the hall and Pewdie's bedroom door opened, closing once more with a click.
Cry inhaled shakily, letting the breath out in a huff... He felt like crying and sleeping at the same time, both were rather an escape from his problems... Somehow.
Though the latter seemed more attractive at the moment, and Cry removed his glasses, placing them on the bedside table and pulling the sheets up to his chin.
He closed his eyes a bit hesitantly, before falling slowly into a restless sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~

Pewdie yawned and blinked open his eyes, immediately feeling a warmth on his left side, hugging his arm. He glanced over lazily and smiled gently, the sleeping face of his lover calming him slightly, as a rush of last night came flooding back.
Cry had kissed him, and he hadn't dare tell Marzia. Simply that there was a small problem, and Cry had to go home early. She expressed her sadness, and Pewdie simply went along with it, before they both fell asleep for the same.
Pewdie quietly and gently pulled away from her and stood up, walking over to the closet and pulling out a peach colored V-neck and pulling it on, finding some jeans in a drawer. What time was Cry's flight today, and was the brunette even awake yet?
Pewdie glanced over at the clock, noting that it read nine thirty so far. Hopefully his flight was later. Pewdie walked from his bedroom quietly, hoping not to disturb Marzia, though simply out of respect.
Something had changed, last night. Because of what happened, something in his mindset changed. He no longer felt this unbearable love for Marzia, it was more... Sisterly. It was still love just not... Love.
Whenever he kissed her, he found, the same tingle didn't run across his lips, the small heat didn't run though his body... It was just a touch with her, and nothing more.
He had overreacted immensely last night, but the fatigue of the day had just worn him down. He hadn't meant to shove Cry away so roughly, or look that way...
Cry's expression when he had done that, he felt absolutely horrible. Perhaps he could apologize... Maybe he could forget and repress these feelings, and hide them away.
He and Marzia, they had been through so much together...
You could practically see the love and admiration radiating off of her when you looked at her when she was with Pewdie.
Pewdie paused outside Cry's door and knocked gently, hearing shuffling footsteps walk over to the door and he creaked open quietly.
Cry was already dressed, average jeans and a dark green hoodie on, his hands buried in the front pocket as his glasses were stuck loosely on his nose.
After a moment of silence, Pewdie cleared his throat and scratched his jaw. He reminded himself to shave later.
"So um... What time is your flight?" he asked, his tone slightly awkward. He didn't like this odd atmosphere around them... It just wasn't natural.
"Oh yeah... Eleven, but I decided just to go ahead and get everything ready so I wouldn't have to rush later." he said with a small shrug, motioning to his bags, packed and ready on the bed.
"That's smart... Listen, how about we get some breakfast since we have a good hour left?" Pewdie asked, raising an eyebrow gently.
Cry nodded and gave a weak smile. "Sounds good to me." he hummed, and the two made their way to the kitchen, Cry sitting at the table while Pewdie brewed some coffee.
He wasn't a big coffee drinker, really, but he liked it, and drank it when needed.
It was definitely needed right now.
While waiting, Pewdie walked over to the table and sat across from Cry, looking over at the brunette, who's eyes were downcast at the table.
"... Cry, I think it would be best to talk about this." Pewdie suggested quietly, and he glanced up. Cry then nodded gently, looking up, though his eyes avoided the Swede.
"I'm so sorry for what I did... I don't know what I was thinking, things just happened and... I heard you and Marzia together." Cry admitted, making Pewdie stop and flush red slightly.
"Oh... I'm... I'm sorry about that." he murmured, and Cry shook his head. "It's fine... Just know I'm really, really sorry. I hope this... I hope this doesn't change anything." he said, finally flickering his eyes over to Pewdie and looking at his expression.
Pewdie didn't say anything for awhile, then sighed gently. "Cry, you and I both know this is going to change some things. I mean, you kissed me last night... What does that even mean? Are you in love with me?" At that, Cry looked down quickly and squirmed slightly in his chair under Pewdie's gaze.
Pewdie blinked, then swallowed hard. So... Cry was in love with him this whole time? Part of him was honestly astounded, while the other felt horrible... How hard would it be to see the one you're in love with be with another? And for who knows how long...
Pewdie sighed gently and rubbed a hand down his face. "... I'm sorry, for... Being in love with you." Cry said quietly, making Pewdie honestly chuckle slightly.
"Sorry for being in love with me...? You can't control who you fall in love with." he said gently, making Cry blush slightly.
"I know." he murmured, and Pewdie stood, walking over to the coffee maker and reaching up into the cupboard above it to retrieve two cups, placing them on the counter top with a small clank and pouring a reasonable amount in each.
Pewdie frowned a bit as he found the sugar and put a large amount in his, trying to water down the bitterness a bit.
"No sugar in mine, please. Or anything." Cry commented quietly from behind him, and Pewdie closed the small jar once more.
He picked up the two mugs and walked back to the table, placing one in front of Cry. The brunette thanked him quietly, and took a sip of the hot liquid.
Pewdie sat in front of him once more, stirring his gently with a spoon. Nobody spoke for a bit, before Cry spoke up once more.
"Things are going to change now, hm?" he asked gently. Pewdie smiled a bit and nodded, almost sadly. Things would be changing for them. Their friendship would no longer be innocent.
Though it hurt Pewdie that Cry was still in love with him, still loved him like he did, despite the things that had happened. He knew he looked disgusted, and said those things, but... He didn't stop it.
Pewdie gazed at Cry for a moment, his eyes softening.
Though maybe... It was a good thing their friendship was no longer innocent. It had awakened something in him, that refused to be put asleep once more.
It had been too many times over the time that they had known each other, each awakening bringing on confusion and each time it was put to sleep making him feel such guilt... It was time to come to terms with it.

~~~~~~~~~~
After another awkward hour, the wakening of Marzia and a painfully tearful goodbye, claiming that she wished he "could've stayed so much longer" and that "she enjoyed his company."
Cry saw right through that, though, the words "get out of here so I can have my dear Felix to myself" practically floating around her head.
The two gamers were now sitting in the car, the airport mere minutes away. This would be it, of course. Probably the last time they would talk in weeks, if not months.
And he hated it, though it was his fault...
He had to be stupid and kiss Pewdie last night. They had said that things would change, but they would absolutely still be friends, and still play games and things together, but this would always be hanging over their heads.
They had come to terms with that. Pewdie happily tapped his fingers against the steering wheel, just because of his nature, not because of Cry leaving, to the music on the radio playing quietly through out the car.
Cry couldn't help but smile, though the hurt was still a bit much to bare. He was glad they could remain friends, but... Sorrowful they could only remain friends.
It was for the best, though... He'd rather have his own heart broken than a sweet girl's like Marzia.
It was about five minutes until ten fifty, both of them having decided that it was better to be there early so he could be ready.
They both stayed silent though, the only sound in the car being some stupid song that Pewdie found joy in and the soft "thump thump" of his fingers.
Soon, Pewdie's car pulled into the parking lot of the airport. "I'll help you with your bags and everything." Pewdie said, getting out of the car before Cry could protest.
Cry smiled a bit and got out after the Swede, walking over to the trunk as Pewdie pulled out both his bags, walking towards the airport and nodding for Cry to follow. He did so, of course, and the two went inside the building.
"I got it from here, Pewds." Cry hummed, taking his bags from Pewdie once they were near the area to get a boarding pass.
"Alright... Cry, can I say something before I have to go?" the Swede asked gently, making Cry look up quickly. "Sure..." he murmured with a nod, and Pewdie smiled.
"... Call me when you get home, okay?" he said quickly, placing a hand on the back of Cry's neck and pulling him forward, connecting their lips gently.
Cry made a small, muffled sound of surprise, though didn't push away. Soon the quick exchange was over, leaving Cry gaping in surprise at Pewdie.
"You... I mean, you just..."
Pewdie smirked, waving gently at Cry. "Come back soon..." he hummed, before turning, pocketing his hands as he walked back towards the exit.
Cry stood there for a minute, his eyes wide and mouth agape gently in surprise. A wide grin then spread across his face.
So he was right, in the beginning... It would never be the same.
And it seemed both of them were just fine with that.
