Description
Pewdie climbed out of the shower with a quiet yawn, ruffling his blonde hair dry a bit. He wrapped a towel around his waist and sighed with content, the shower relieving all his feeling of sweat and dirt.The Swede peeked out of the bathroom door and into the hall, tilting his head slightly to look into the living room.
He saw Cry’s curly mop of chocolate brown hair slouching over the back of the couch, and chuckled quietly in amusement.
“Hey, Cry, you doing alright?” he called from the bathroom, then slipped out, padding down the hall and trying to avoid dripping on the carpet.
Cry quickly turned around, apparently surprised and deep in thought, yet the television was on, so Pewdie thought nothing of it.
“O-oh, hey friend. Yeah, yeah I’m doing alright. Just eh, watching T.V.” the brunette explained, his voice quickly clearing of any awkwardness.
Pewdie smiled and nodded, scratching the stubble on his jaw for a second. “Good, I wouldn’t want to leave you all bored and alone.
I know how awkward that can get.” he laughed, seeing Cry’s eyes glued to him, yet ignored it.
“Anyway, I’m gonna go put some clothes on and everything. Think about what you want to do today.” he said nonchalantly, turning and sauntering back down the hall and into his bedroom.
He shoved the door shut with a quiet click, still keeping the towel around his waist as he moved to his dresser to retrieve some pants.
Even though he was alone, in a closed room, he still felt paranoid knowing Cry was in the next room.
It’s not like he installed cameras to see him naked or anything, right? Pewdie let out a quiet, nervous chuckle to himself, breathing out a sigh.
He’d been thinking like this for the past two days, and still had five to go. Pewdie shivered lightly and glanced around.
It wasn’t that weird wearing a towel even with a closed door and everything, he didn’t walk around the house naked...
Okay, he did, but that had nothing to do with any of this.
Pewdie dug out some jeans and boxers, glancing around, then thinking of how much of an idiot he was, then dropped his towel.
He pulled on his boxers quickly, almost tripping as he went quickly. He let out a squeal, finally shimming the underclothes onto his hips.
He couldn’t slapped himself, but only let out a snort, tugging on his pants and then moving to the closet.
So what if Cry saw him naked anyway, right?
They were both guys, it didn’t matter. Plus, they were best bros. He dug out a shirt and pulled it over his head, shaking his hair which still flung off droplets.
Now he had to dry that...
~~~~~~~~~~
Oh hell no.
Pewdie was not going to do that to him.
Cry let out a low breath, rubbing his eyes, his glasses cocked up in his hair. The man had been practically naked, a small bit of cloth separating his manhood from Cry’s prying eyes.
Cry let out a low, nervous laugh, his face stained crimson. It wasn’t even that big of a deal, and he was flipping out and blushing like mad.
He stood slowly and stretching, sighing deeply as his... Excitement was now fading. Now, to get his thoughts away from that...
He paced around the coffee table, humming low with boredom as he thought about what he and Pewds could do.
He didn’t know what all was around here, they’d already gone out to eat... He shrugged to himself and gazed out the window.
The park? He always liked the park, and hoped they had one around here.
Back at home, it had always been too hot, or his mother would be too busy dealing with his brother and sister and him.
Cry smiled gently to himself, remembering the times he did go to the park. The sun, the grass, the warm, peaceful air...
His smiled widened gently. Even thought there was a small layer of snow over the places where cars and people weren’t from yesterday, the sun was heating up and melting it.
Maybe by the time they got to a park, the snow and frost would have melted some. It would be nice- no, great -to go to the park with Pewdie.
He really wanted to enjoy it with him, the warm days, no distractions...
Cry grinned gently to himself, then paused, taking the still half empty glass from the table to go empty it. This would be great...
~~~~~~~~~~
Pewdie turned off the hair dryer, wanting it to dry quicker than when he just ruffled it with a towel. And it did, only taking a few moments.
He didn’t want to leave Cry alone any longer than he already had, the poor guy was probably feeling so awkward.
He opened the bathroom door, exiting and trotting down the hall into the living room. Cry was leaving the kitchen, pausing when he noticed the Swede there.
“Finally. Sorry for taking so long, Cry. I usually shower at night.” he hummed, chuckling a bit.
“So, did you think of anything you wanted to do today?” he asked the brunette, seeing the faint smile on his lips.
“I... Wanted to go to the park. Do you have one around here?” Cry asked fairly shyly, his bright eyes gleaming hopefully.
Pewdie paused, thinking it over for a minute, then nodded. “Yeah, we can do that. There’s a park not to far from here, actually... Kids go there and feed ducks and stuff. Wanna go?” Pewdie hummed, raising his eyebrows gently.
The smile that graced Cry’s lips made Pewdie’s grow. “Yeah, I haven’t been to a park in forever, but I love it. I don’t care if it is kinda snowy and cold.” he added, grabbing his coat from the rack and pulling it on.
Pewdie smiled, tossing his jacket over his shoulder, eying Cry and he tossing a scarf on too.
“I’m not carrying that if you get too hot.” Pewdie hummed, grinning. Cry rolled his eyes and smirked, adjusting his glasses.
“I’m not used to these arctic temperatures just yet, so bare with me.” he laughed.
Pewdie rolled his eyes, but was unable to keep the smile on his lips.
“You’re an idiot, Cry. Come on, let’s go before it decides to go back into ‘arctic temperatures’ again.” he laughed, grabbing his keys from the ring and opened the door, stepping out and awaiting Cry to come out.
The brunette paused outside, waiting for Pewdie to lock to the door and the two went down to the lobby, Cry keeping his gaze off that creepy girl at the front, who only flickered her eyes up to look at Cry and Pewdie this time, seeming engrossed in something on her computer.
Cry offered a polite wave, happy that his day so far was going alright. She didn’t look up, she didn’t even seem to notice.
Yet, Cry didn’t care, it wasn’t her attention he wanted. Pewdie led them outside to his car, then paused with a light frown.
“Do you want to walk or drive? I kinda like walking with you...” he admitted, his gaze flickering to the side shyly. Cry grinned, then nodded gently.
“Y-yeah, let’s walk. I like it, too. I like to spend time hanging around you.” he said with a gentle shrug.
Pewdie grinned, then stuffed his keys into his pocket, coming back around the car and walking over to Cry, starting down the sidewalk.
“To the park!” Pewdie declared, the two sharing a low laugh.
Yes, today would be a good day...
