I normally don't like photomanips, but this one is so gorgeous, so wonderfully tied together and demonstrates a real understanding of the physics of light, and the way the human eye sees. Very skillful work.

Oh my gosh, now that I take a closer look, I can recognize the huge riffs/stairs from Peru! It reminded me of Machu Picchu
It's ridiculously amusing to see how you posted this in August, and the last comment was in March with only 30 favorites on this work. Now there are 1900 favorites and counting! You really did deserve this DD, as everyone says. I'm looking forward to your future works!

Some of the water is from the high peaks region- and I realize there is a little bit of water from near Ithaca. At least a portion of a mountain is also from the Adirondacks, the others are Sierras and Andes. Trees are from all over, some from NY, as are the sunflowers, just outside of Syracuse...

Fabulous. Those bits are my old stomping ground; I grew up just outside of the Adirondack region, and spent a lot of time in Syracuse. You really took the best of the best up there to make this. Beautiful work.

Oh, wow. It's impossible to peg this as a simple photo manipulation.. your weeks and weeks of work really show in the depth and the atmosphere of this picture. The only thing that seems a tiny bit off is the bottom right hand corner - I understand there are shadows, but the branches seem to be floating there rather than growing there. But, a small critique to an outstanding piece. Excellent work. <3
