Probably one of my favorite songs.. Well, I also want to rant here. It's quite obvious, can't you see? Maybe.. Everybody has a copycat friend at some point. Well, my so called "friend" is one.
Before she met me, she likes One Direction, Taylor Swift, and I don't know what else but you get the idea.
Then theres.. moi. I like metal/rock/hardcore/thatkindofstuff music. And I mostly wear darker colors, and love Hot Topic c: Don't get me wrong, I don't like hollister.. considering that's what girls at my school wear all the time
But after she met me she's all like
"OMFG BLACK VEIL BRIDES!!!!1111"
...Yeah -facepalm-
She never did shopped at Hot Topic, but she kept on inviting me to go to HT with her "Hey, we should go to Hot Topic together!"
YEAH, NO.
The funny thing is, she admitted she wanted to have a similar clothing style like mine. Started painting her nails black, likes the same stuff as me (especially music), bought the same band merch (I understand it's frickin' band merch, but the fact she bought them to copy me), and started watching Black Butler when she doesn't know the main character's full name lol.
She doesn't do this to just me, also. Another friend, likes Green Day and Paramore. Guess fucking what.
After she met her, she started liking them too. I am so fucking done.
I'm not trying to make her look like a complete douche bag, she's sometimes nice. I would go on forever, but lolnope. This continued on for like 2 years, and I can't take it anymore. I understand people think imitation is a form of flattery, and I want to think it that way, but it annoys me. And I actually want people's opinions here.. Do you think it's flattery or annoying?

I love being different because no one will want to copy me, I like all sorts of music and i dress differently from other people, yes i do get made fun of but i dont give a shit. ^.^ Good luck on that 'friend' of yours

Yeah but theres this conceited bitch at my school who does the same thing, tbh i think its annoying.
Like i was the only person in my school who had my hair cut this way (sidebangs, no actual place where it part) and then suddenly she cut it like mine mid way the school year and honestly nobody thinks it even looks good on her ._.
