Sigyn had known about Loki's "trips" to the realms and his many offsprings but their relationship was always an open one, and so, she was never jealous or envy of her Loki nor her step-children and loved them as much as her own, in her own way though.

Among many acts of loves for Loki: unstitch his mouth after Brokkr and Eitri had stitched it, protect him from Thor when he cut the hair of Sif, make him feel loved in his darkest times etc, the last act of love was when Loki was captured by Váli Odinson. After Loki had killed Baldr, he was hunted down and chained by a rock with the guts of Loki's own daughter, Nótt, and the most poisonous snake to drip its venom on his face for eternity. Sigyn then made a the most important decision of her life: she her position of queen of Valkyries and stayed by Loki's side, protecting his face from the venom for his eternal imprisonment.
