Click Here for Overfuel Issue Two: Candy vs Candy - Deluxe< Cover -- Next >
Page one of Issue 2 of OverFuel, the superhero comedy parody, weight gain fetish comic about Candace Candy, a woman with incredible powers of energy projection, and a sugar addiction that cripples her ability to use them. This issue deals with her first major villain, and features a lot of artwork I put my whole heart into. I hope you love this as much as I loved making it!
Sorry for late release, scheduled for wrong day by accident!

i had some thoughts in regards to the ability's her powers give her (that i highly doubt she'll figure out any time soon), here are just some ideas of potential future abilities if i understand how her powers work
1. E=mass (passive); since her body can generate multiple forms of energy it can generate ATP, bio-chem energy, which is stored in fat cells. this means that it's difficult for her to lose weight and she would constantly be gaining weight (slowly) regardless of her diet. also if she concentrates on producing that form of energy she could even willingly make herself fatter.
2. Energy absorption: she can gain weight from her body transforming energy directly into fat (though some would be used in order to do the transfer), but only in large quantities (or the kinetic E from her footsteps would make her gain) like power lines (electric), or gun shots (kinetic).
3. Super-Rush: since she can control the energy in her body she could use the ATP energy stored in her fat to temporarily supercharge her muscles making her faster and stronger though not to super human level and also causing her to lose weight very quickly and even build muscles over time (very slowly and only if it's used often). she should not do this often though due to the strain it would put on her body (the heart especially) and because like a sugar rush after words she would crash to the point of basically being helpless. best used for very short emergencies.

Somehow comic books become less fun to read when you apply real life science and logic to them. For example, the Flash can move faster than the speed of light. If you were to apply real science to his comics, he wouldn't have even a 1/100th of his powers. Radioactive spider bites would make Peter Parker very ill and by all accounts, Bruce Banner and Rick Jones should not only be dead but their corpses should have been vaporized into nothingness by all those gamma rays. What makes this genre enjoyable is being able to ignore actual science without having to reject it in real life.

Hmmmmmmmm... These are all things I haven't ever thought about, that all line up INCREDIBLY well, and make a ton of sense with how she works. They would also go a long way to explaining the speed she's blown up. This is pretty fantastic.

i feel i should specify some points on #'s 2 & 3
for #2, the energy absorption would make her invulnerable to guns shots, as in the bullets just bounce off but she would get a little fatter for each one, but she doesn't absorb the small amount of kinetic E from her own footsteps (otherwise she'd be immobile in a day or two). she is also not immune to things like knives (unless thrown) since they would still exert force and are sharp.
#3 could also theoretically increase here bodies regenerative abilities, so small injuries would heal faster while she's using it, though it can not stop fatal wounds or heal lost limbs

#2 I'm actually not fully set on. I think some of the energy is absorbed, especially from impact of her own actions, like when she lifted the tire in training, but the bullet bounced violently off her in training as well. The shield her body has up while she's ignited is effectively a reflex system that bursts kinetic force into oncoming threats, so knives would still be deflected. This shield uses up her mental faculties quickly, however. I also feel the ADP produced shouldn't necessarily make her fatter, but rather make her body energized without food, so food becomes fat more easily.
The notes on #3 sound pretty well perfect.

on it's own the ATP would not make her fatter unless (as i stated) she openly wills her body to produce it like the rest of her powers then she would be producing it enough that the gain would be noticeable though i don't think she would intentionally try that since there is only so much that her body would be able to use at a given time anyway

My thought is that it might be a reflexive thing, being generated only as its burned, like the energy that results from the chemical reaction is generated more than the actual molecules.

that too which is why she has difficulty losing weight, unless she's using #3 which as i mentioned was dangerous for extended use

I sure hope Rochelle is bisexual. It would be a nice change of pace from the girls you usually draw who are always either straight or lesbian.

A lot of them are, that's true-blue but she is, in fact. Candace is lesbian, Nina is straight and Rochelle is bisexual. Unfortunately, Candace isn't really her type, she prefers thinner people (somewhat ironically).

So what is the true sexuality ratio for Candace? What percentage of her sexuality is gay and what percentage is into guys? For example, I myself am Bi but I'm about 75 % straight and 25 % gay.

I was just hoping she was bi so I wouldn't feel so creepy being attracted to her. I was just hoping she was into guys at least somewhat.

Ah, you're not creepy being attracted to Candace, either Really, she's not a 'lesbian,' but she prefers women a lot, and hasn't been attracted to men as often, so she refers to herself that way. But, yes, canonically Rochelle is bisexual
