Description
In conjunction with Kingdom Hearts 3's release and wanting to experiment on how this Keyblade would look on him and also a different outfit.I'm happy with how this piece turned out, especially with Sora's hair and how his Keyblade contrasts his darker attire.
Also, more plaids and pouches.
Another challenge I had with this drawing is with Sora's expression especially his eyes.Β
I'm too used with drawing male characters with slanting/sharp/tsurime eyes so drawing a gentle expression for Sora was a tad tricky, but worth it.

That Keyblade is called 'Solace Star'.
It was meant to be based on the Keyblade that Zephyr sketched out from one unreleased trailer during the KH2.5 launch event.Β

Oh, so that's what that style of drawing eyes is called! Then I think I draw my characters' eyes like that, more often than tareme.Β

Amazingly drawn. Do you have the game? I'm only to the Toy Box for now, though I completely finished Olympus and a few other side quests.
(And here's a thought. What if Sora had the transformation power for his keyblades with his older keyblades from previous games?)
