Hey guys, I wanted to fresh up on the design I had for Kid Doomfist. I realized that he didn't really have anything to hide his identity from the world, so I added a high collar. That and because no one really had a high collar yet in the roster so that helped me make my decision.

I also wanted to change his backstory. His first backstory was that he wanted to help out Overwatch so he tried looking for the last Doomfist. While he did find him, he couldn't be Doomfist anymore so the kid took it upon himself to take on the moniker.

Now, he was captured by Talon because of his meddling in the trailer. The kid was somehow able to use a deactivated Doomfist gauntlet with enough power that it broke the fist. Talon was interested in this, so they took the kid and tried to condition him like what happened to Widowmaker. Unlike Amelie though, the kid was able to hold off the conditioning long enough that Overwatch was able to track them down and stop the process before it became permanent. Now the kid fights alongside Overwatch as thanks, as well as taking responsibility for having the Doomfist attached to him now.

I wanted to change his abilities and stats. Now, Kid Doomfist can launch punches of 75 damage each. He can't punch as fast as the player can press the button now, since there's at least a very short cooldown before being able to punch again. He can also charge a punch and fire it on the floor to create a small AoE that would push back the enemy as well as damage them for 100 points. His special abilities are the same though.

For this sketch, I had the help of in the lighting and I think it went well. I would try doing this for original characters and character designs in the future.

I plan to draw this new Overwatch OC soon, though I still have some Kid Doomfist x D.Va ideas to draw so I might do that first.
