"If it bleeds, we can kill it"-Dutch, Predator (1987)
The scorpion headpiece from the Chima line had such a strong resemblance to the infamous Yautja aliens featured in the Predator movies that I just had to give it a shot. A little project that's been going back and forth since easter, finally finished it up and got posting again. Based of the Predator from the original movie, and some resemblance to the one featured in the newest Call Of Duty. Quite the special custom here really, with no cutting, gluing or 3rd party pieces, just a couple painted parts and decals.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I post again, should be done with some revised MW2 figs soon.

I pretty much cover all the bases in terms of the lego community, everything from minifig customization to bionicle, just tend to go with whatever I tend to like from time to time, apart from trains it seems.
Like always I just us decal sheets that I print on, cut out and carefully apply myself. Can't afford anything too fancy just yet.

Yeah that really seems to be the case. pate-Keetongu is like that to and its cool cause nothing gets too stale that way. I just try to do different things within constraction, not just building figure after figure after figure. I'd like to get into more system building, but I just don't have the parts to really do it. My system collection is mostly 90's and early 2000's and a lot of it just really random and not having a whole great lot of anyone thing because I'd just buy what ever sets I liked as a kid. It can be rather limiting because techniques that use a lot of the same part to make something work can be rather difficult for me. Plus having most of my parts in system unsorted makes things a bitch to. 
Oh I see, that's cool I've been thinking about trying that, since my step dad is a model rail roader and has all the stuff to be able to do custom decals.

As do I. But my focus shifted to Bionicle almost exclusively in 2004. That's when I really started MOCing and I would double up on sets because I was collecting them but also liked playing/MOCing with them so I'd get two of everything if I could. And by 2005 I was like "I ain't got no more room and I'm not gonna pile this shit up like my dad does, so fuckit its gotta go" and I liquidated my display collection. That's how I have so much bionicle to work with, and why its mostly the middle years of Bionicle as well.

ok now that is fucking legit, I think you should try to make a xenomorph! and you should use the head from frenzy ((an alien from space police)) and paint it black to start off! ^^
