Thanks Kat  She was my entry for the Exotique 8 publishing contest from Ballistic Publishing this year.  I haven't submitted anything for a few years so i decided to take a few weeks and put together a nice piece for it this year.  They always serve as a great learning experience becuase i always try to push myself to do something above and beyond what I've done in the past and I end up getting some valuable experience from it.

Thanks  I wanted to do something I hadn't done before and I've had this vague idea in my mind about a tribal character like this for some time, so I decided to give it a go.  Had to rummage through so many of my resources to find appropriate tattoo designs.  This also gave me a chance to try out Arki's DragonBraid hair which is just a masterpiece  I also wanted an epic looking battle axe for this, and I knew Wartech (FoRender.com) was going to be my go to guy for that.  I was also surprised at how well the ruins models held up on the full size image (4000 x 2925).  Those are models from back in the V3 and M3 days and while their structure is high res enough, I worried that i would have to retexture them myself in order for them to be high enough res. for print, but they surprised me.

Great work! 

This morning I was considering getting the Dragon Braid, now I think I will, it looks great!

I love those ruins, I use them quite often myself, it's a very good prop.

And I also use V3 and M3 when I want to use some old textures I like!
