lol I have to agree, the facial expressions are getting better and better, This was downright hilarious. It's a thin line for any kind of comedian to walk when they choose their subject matter. One breast-cancer-beaten-by-puppy-orphan joke gone awry and you will have a mob on your hands.

Well its hard to be a comic and not hit a nerve somewhere, lol even if you dont say anything offending some people will go "Come on! your dull! do something edgey!" so its a balance act it seems like to me.

this kind of came to me when i was talking to someone about how breast cancer and others get their own awareness month, but other needy causes (like orphan puppy holocaust survivors)

hehe, well its pretty easy when the facial expression are as simple and one dimensional as mine (eg happy, scared, sad). But lately ive been adding more dimension to them, like if you look at the last panel, i think you'll see a mix of longing, regret, and ennui (roughly, 20% / 50% / 30%).
