About a year ago, a few friends and I would get together for a "modern-world" DnD night via webcam, using roll20.net/ I liked that we were able to customize our icons and move them around the map, so I drew up some quick character sketches to use as our icons.

The theme of the game was monster/creature hunting in a modern day setting (kind of a Buffy vibe), led by our freakishly handsome DM on the top left with the glasses. There was also the buff tank dude, the cool tomboyish girl, the weird witch woman, and the paranoid conspiracy theorist who was always questioning everything including things out of the fourth wall (me). But let me talk about the character named Brian.

Brian, with his stupid blue beanie, was some homeless, druggy looking character with basically all his stats in luck and charm/charisma. Brian, who distracted demons by charming them and once--somehow--put a demon into the body of a half eaten turkey which later became our mascot and which we forgot about because it was left in the van. Brian, who made the DM yell things like "How do you keep doing this!?", to which Brian would respond by asking the DM if he could roll to make a sandwich.

Oh, Brian. He was truly the hero of the story even though he was never around much.
