Oh, well know reading that makes me feel kinda dumb. But, I guess it did make a good story. If he died at the beginning it wouldn't be much of a manga or anime. I didn't like Light from the start actually, but he made the story more interesting. He was a good character, but not his nature or personality. Alas, no matter what happened Death Note is still the greatest<3

lol when he first found the note book, i thought he might actually write his own name in it, (like before he found out what it was) cuz where I'm from its just basic procedure to write your name in like any note book that belongs to you lol.. that actually would have been hilarious!! Like 10 pages and then the series just ends XD

Yes! I seriously hated Light from the beginning because he came to me as a stuck up prep. If it weren't for him the greatest characters ever would be alive:/

I almost cried, and haven't really taken notice much on the episodes after... but its so sad, because... one the last things L does before he dies, is apologize to Light ;'( Its so sad, really... I've yet to watch the last 5 episodes... I dont feel up to it though Dx

actully, in the live action movies...she was a guy. It's pretty retarted if you ask me sense Rem was clearly female in the anime. Ryuk even called Rem 'she'.

I loved L, but to be honest his death was kind of boring...He didn't really even get a chance to fight for his life or anything, he was just killed by the Death Note by the shinigami D: Maybe it's just because I knew he was going to die because of all the spoilers I saw before I read the series, haha.
I almost stopped reading at Mello and Matt's canon death though ;A;
