Description
This rainbow layer cake is another one of the first few things I made with polymer clay. It is 18mm in diameter, 1:12 scale. I have to admit that it isn't one of the pieces I am really proud of making. The textures aren't realistic enough and I didn't have a grasp of Cernit's colour change after baking. Explains the darkened colours of the cake.
I liked the frosting though! Smooth meringue frosting is my second favourite (after buttercream ) and the acrylic modelling paste I used captures the stiff texture very well.

I really need to get more mini crockery...this MLP plate is getting monotonous.

Materials:
Cernit (cake)
Kato(round sweets in icing)
Mont Marte acrylic modelling paste (icing)

BTW, ~shadecake pointed out that the icing is on the wrong side of the small slice. That slice was made for an ear stud and I wanted both slices to be facing backwards when worn, so I frosted it that way. And I couldn't find the slice that was right side up for the photoshoot. My bad, sorry.
