Oh my goodness I just read your journal, I'm so sorry that is happening to you.
I live with my parents because my father is nearly blind and my mum does nearly everything for him, so everyday I witness someone I love feeling utter despair at their loss of sight. It has it's effects on me too. Even though I have near perfect eyesight I know one day I will end up just like him because we have similar eyes and in the last few years already I have had to start wearing glasses.
All I can say is, I hope your situation improves.
