Flat, oval shaped body,
Long spiny legs,
Crawling underneath my skin,
“there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface.
Consuming, confusing,
this lack of self control I fear is never ending”.
Triggered by words, sounds or gestures from my past,
this anxiety feeling that lives inside my body,
for seeing what I’ve felt.
But how can you understand how I feel? If you listen, only to reply…
How can I love myself, if all I see is the negativity you assume about me.
It’s not easy having to deal with anxiety, it makes you feel disgusting, depressed, afraid, lonely, unloved, insecure, confused, etc…
It’s important to feel the support from the ones that surrounds us,
it’s important to feel understood,
to not overthink, without control.
It’s important for you to be aware, of your words and body language,
put yourself into my shoes,
not your hands on the trigger.
I hope you know that no matter what happened before, you’ll be okay and I’ll be there for you, just like when we were young.
