    Echo has walked through many treads of life, like many things. He made the mistake and now pays the price with each new life he bares, a soft sentiment to the centuries he has walked through. Never being able to return to his lost loved ones and never able to end this tormented cycle of painful sin. Alone, but never truly... This is his purgatory now.

So yeah, this is a bit of backstory about my baby (and kinda my sona?). He has something similar to the stones that Silver Light (another character I have) wears, but unlike hers that are in a neckpiece, he is actually in his head. His demon works differently than hers, (all the demons and spirits act differently from one another, which someday when I get a species reference out will make more sense) he cannot truly die, he has more of a respawn... but the more he does "die" he looses more of himself.

If y'all have any questions let me know and I can try to answer them!

So I'm just gonna quickly go through the different forms, starting on the furthers left (<---) and moving to the what would be the newest form!

For the sake of writing the demon (which is what the stone is possessed by) will be called Elm, is this the cannon name? I don't know yet, I haven't thought about it.

Also, he bleeds a violet color, due to the gem.

    Evanescent Sands (white/grey male wolf-pegasus):
        This is the first form he ever had, his birth form and the truest form of him he will ever have. He is a bubbly guy that would constantly be jumping and flying around his village (despite the other members of the clan not liking him due to his... mixed nature).
        His Significance (I know this is a lot, but it explains how he got the stone):
            After much debate, the village decided to explore the nearby cave for any treasure (Due to the land being inhabited by dragons and the elusive draco-ponies) and sent some ponies. Sand begged to be apart of the exploration and they eventually let him go with. They explored deep down into the cave and they found what they had been searching for, lots and lots of gemstones. Sand didn't care about any of the hundreds of priceless gems beneath him and his comrades, just a certain endless abyss black obsidian. It sat on a pedestal at the very back wall of the circular grey carved stone chamber. He carefully approached the stone, ears twitching. Something felt terribly off about it, it felt dangerous. His instincts were screaming to run, but he only drew ever closer, seduced by the reflection of his own eyes in the glassy surface. The others had taken as many stones that would fit into their bags. When they had a devious thought. One of the unicorns pulled a sharpened machete that they had brought with for foliage clearance, and quietly put it close to the entranced wolven-pegasus. Sand was right in front of the stone now, nothing else in the room seemed to register besides the bijou that called to him. The cut was clean, and they all laughed as he suffocated on his own thick blood. He bled out falling upon the pedestal, knocking it from its place. They all left after spitting on him or simply kicking his corpse. The stone now sat upon the ground mere inches from his half-lidded eyes.
TIME OF REGENERATION: 7 YEARS
       CONTINUED: Sand's eyes slowly blinked back into reality, was he dead? His head pounded as he felt a strange burning sensation run through his body, he screamed in pain and tore at his eyes and cheeks. After what seemed like an eternity he realized his body had been moved from where he was murdered. They had buried the evidence, he was underground. Panic encapsulated his body as his dug up, confused on how he is alive. Once above ground his eyes focused on his hooves, they were strange... Demonic... He got a burst of intense anger and went and found his village. Their screams filled Sand with glee as he watched them burn and beg for his mercy.

Side note: this Village is not a part of, what would become, Equestria. It is further north above what would become the Crystal Empire.

TIME OF REGENERATION: THE SAME 7 AS STATED ABOVE

    Spot Oakspine (brown earth male pony):
        After murdering his entire village and slipping out of his demonic form, he realized he had a completely new look. This form is his most inconspicuous form, his only telling features being the star and the stone.
        His Significance:
         A tall strapping stallion and he decided to wander and find a village he could be a part of, hoping it would be better than the last. After months of wandering, and wondering how he was still alive despite the fact he barely slept and ate, he came upon a small settlement of earth ponies who quickly accepted him in. He became a miner for this new village and quickly climbed the ranks up into the council. Eventually, he met a beautiful mare by the name of Willow Greybell and they became engaged. Shortly before their wedding, disaster struck. He and the rest of the miners were shot, killed by bandits who had ransacked the cave.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 36 YEARS

    Ember Rhinestone (grey/green draco-pony male foal):
        The only form to start as a baby (His birth doesn't count, since he wasn't "possessed" yet), Ember had a rough time trying to thrive. This form was an attempt at not being murdered, since who would hurt a baby... Right? Wrong. He was murdered by a group of extreme racist ponies who disliked the thought of crossbreeding.
        His Significance:
           He didn't have much of one, he had a very short life. Although at the time he came to be, Canterlot had begun to be built and the alicorn sisters had taken command of these lands. He ended up in Canterlot and was killed there.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 57 YEARS

    Morning Dew (yellow/white non-binary griffon):
        Putting more emphasis on being able to defend themselves, they were given this form. Morning is a snarky griffon librarian who can spit some of the meanest and thought out insults ever.
        His Significance:
        They were one of the more civil versions of themselves, having a stable job, house and even going to the store and buying food rather than hunting. Sadly this form only lasted about ten years. They were cornered one day by yet another group of angry ponies, this time due to his gender identity and after quite the fight, they were killed.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 10 YEARS

   ⚠️ Ellia Jack (blue female wolf-pegasus):
        A very happy and smart form (seemingly a cross between Sand and Morning) she is the only form that is female in nature. She was a party animal! She is the only form that drank, smoked, and casually had sex. She was a prostitute.
       ⚠️ Her Significance:
            She was an extremely lust-filled demon this time, constantly needing to have someone with her. She was quite popular being able to take several at once and her rate was quite fair. One night she was asked by a group of stallion, which wasn't uncommon, to "accompany" them. They paid her upfront and she agreed, but this was a mistake. She quickly realized that they wanted more than just a good time. After using her quite a bit, they ended up kidnapping her and using her. They eventually killed her and hid her body in the nearby river.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 4 YEARS

    E. E. (male demon-pony):
        This form was almost purely Elm, due to this they hold no memory of the atrocities they committed while in this form. This form is almost akin to a ghost, looking smokey and having no real formation.
            His Significance:
            He was more of an angry placeholder controlled by Elm while he regained his strength and repaired his mind. Elm was a very violent being; creating fire, killing by the dozen, etc. He was killed by Princess Celestia herself, using a powerful spell that destroyed his form. What she didn’t know was that by banishing him she let loose a powerful curse that sent the land into a decade of freezing bitterness.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 1 MONTH

    Ice Heart (white/cornflower male wolf-pegasus):
        This form was rushed due to Elm being out of commission from the spell. His eyes are empty, but they aren't gory they are just black voids. He chooses to keep the wraps on, fearing that he will scare other ponies again and be killed. He can use a spell for a short amount of time to give him slight sight and sense of what is around him, but he is blind. His wings are also greatly damaged, but the reasoning is unknown.
        His Significance:
            After his showdown with Princess Celestia, he knew he needed to lay low. So he ventured off and wound up in his old village (the one he burnt down). He noticed that the town hall that had been built out of stone and made into a stone chamber, was still liveable. He settled down in there and a few years into living there, it became very cozy and comfortable. He was at peace for the first time in a long time. One day while he was out hunting he found a small filly, no older than six. She was lying in the snow and was very scrawny. He picked her upsetting her on his back and finished dragging the dead deer back to his hole in the wall. She became something of a daughter to Ice and he raised her the best he could. He named her Morning Glory, reference how she is a sunrise in his dark life.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 6 HOURS

    Echo End Game (blue/black male wolf-pegasus):
        The quickest reform to date, Echo is seemingly flawless to the eye. Once you get to know him through things become... strange. He is the angriest and powerful compared to any of his other forms (Besides E.E.). He is also mute and only can communicate through telepathy.
        His Significance (he has the most developed plotline):
            He showed up after a hunting accident. He came home to a now almost adult Morning Glory. She freaked out and ended up leaving home. This threw him into a state of unwarranted anger. Echo began to pillage the outermost villages of Equestria. Princess Celestia sent a specialized task force to neutralize him, which ended up in getting Storm Chaser kidnapped. During Storm's time in Echo's captivity, he was tortured and brainwashed by Elm. Once he felt he had planted the seed of darkness into Storm's mind enough, he sent him back to Canterlot. Echo laid low for a while after this and then after the fear had died down a bit, he showed up at the front gates of the Castle, wearing the old crown from the leaders of years passed. He stated he was here to make peace and proceeded to tell them that he is from a distant land, where he is a king. They treated him as such, even assigning a guard to him. The guard's name was Grey Shield and he was a vampony that Princess Luna felt could do the important task of protecting him. Grey eventually fell in love with Echo and this would be his downfall. Echo brainwashed him and used him and Storm to take over Canterlot. They succeeded too, but Silver Light showed up. She and him fought. Silver was loosing right up until Echo's eyes saw a familiar mare standing in the doorway. She was dressed in Lunar court armor. Her red eyes locked with his... It was his daughter. Silver took this weakness as an advantage, talking him down saying that "he wouldn't want his daughter to see him do any more harm" and "Look around you! Is this what you want her to live in?". After this Echo took off, leaving the crown. Silver Light eventually found him about a month later, he looked ragged. He hadn't eaten and had lots of open wounds on his body due to townsfolk finding and trying to kill him. Silver and he talked for a bit and he told her to tell the others that he is sorry for the troubles he caused and that he won't be around anymore. Then asked her to collapse the cave on him, once he had finished his breathing stopped and his mouth had turned into a soft curled and relieved smile. She apologized to him and told him that she will tell everyone that it wasn't his fault. Fulfilling Echo's final wish, she left and destroyed the cave behind her.

TIME OF REGENERATION: 70 YEARS
