Description

Elusive was running through the Everfree Forest, his heart pounding as his hoofs and paws tore through the ground. Dirt and He heard the sound of wings flapping above him, a few feathers landing on his nose. Bigger wings were heard above his head,taking longer strides through the air.

Renjay: "Will you slow down Elusive? We can barely keep up with ya!"

Sigma: "Yeah, take it easy! I'm sure Kodi and Star are having just as hard a time."

Elusive: " Well we have to hurry! Who knows what Rose is up to in here! She could be causing trouble, or worse, hurting somepony!"

Something lunged by Elusive and was running on the fallen tree next to him, before jumping off it in a blurr. He looked over, his mane blowing in the wind. Glowing scales met his eyes, it was Koden. His fur darkened a little, and his scales were glowing orange and yellow. His tail was waving behind him.

Elusive:"Koden, you shouldn't be running like that, you're hurt."

Koden looked over, his eyes glowing. He was limping on his left paw rather bad, the bandages were getting wet with his blood.

Koden:"I'm fine Elusive. The sooner we get to Rose to help, the better."

Suddenly Koden was levitated into the air by yellow magic. Yelping in surprised Koden realized it was Silver Star.

Star: "Yes, but that doesn't mean you have to wear yourself out, you need to heal."

Lolly was bounding next to them, her pink tail wagging.

Lolly: "Yeah Kodi! Everythings gunna be fine!"

The friends kept flying and runing through the forest, Star carrying Koden with her magic, the hybrid wasn't too thrilled, but it did save him some pain.

Just as she spoke those words, a huge howl erupted into the air, followed by a deeper yowl. Elusive stopped in his tracks, making Lolly bump into his rear end. Star halted, her hooves digging into the dirt. Sigma quickly landed on the ground, followed by Renjay, who really slammed into a tree before sliding down the trunk to the ground.

Renjay: "Awwww... sweet sundance oranges! That smahts."

Sigma pulled the little guy closer with his wing. "Shhhh!!! Didn't you hear those howls? She's near!"

The friends crept closer, takeing ever so slow steps towards some thick brush. Loud rustling was heard, followed by more roars and howls. Neon green magic crashed into the trees above them, knocking down some low branches.

Elusive: "That's her magic all-right."

Suddenly someone yelped rather loudly, almost like a desperate scream.

???: "I said I don't want to fight! Why can't you understand?! I want to HELP you! I CAN help you if you just let me!"

Renjay: "Hey.... isn't that Steven's voice?"

Elusive nodded, and he peeked his nose through the brush. The scene unfolded before him, they were right by MoonFalls Lake, the full moon glowing over the icy-cursed waters. This was the more swampy part of the EverFree Forest.

Rose was covered in blood, it was all over her drooling maw and dripping from her horn. She was covered in cuts and bruises, but her magic glowed all around her body, almost as if she was trying to protect herself. She slammed Steven the half-demon hybrid down into the grass. Steven was covered in his own blood as well as Roses, his left eye was bleeding, and his left wing seemed to be broken, he was covered in cuts and clawmarks. Blood was dripping from his own maw, he had tears in his eyes.

Steven: "I don't want to hurt you more that I already have Rose.... please. Just run off! " He just lay there in the grass. Rose was circling him, her neon green eyes glowing with rage.

Elusive: "We need to stop her now!"

He was about to charge forth to stop Rose but Koden pulled him back.

Koden:"No... that won't work Elusive, more ponies will get hurt if you just charge in there willy-nilly! That'll make her more mad!"

Elusive: "Then what do we do Koden?! Steven is really hurt, and she is as well! We need to stop them from fighting!"

Koden: "We'll do that, but we;ll do it MY way. We need to get to the old Rose, release her mind from the Timberwolf occupying it!"

Lolly: "How? She's pretty lost. I don't see a way Koden, and I'm usually positive about things!"

Renjay: "She's scary! Full of sharp teeth and claws, we can't eve get closer to her anyways ELusive!"

Sigma:"I can try some fireballs at her, to scare her off, maybe she'll return to her old form in the morning?"

Koden: "We are NOT Firing fireballs, or flames, or any form of violence! Instead, we entertain her."

Sigma: Star:Renjay:Lolly:Elusive: "................ what?!"

Koden: "Listen, we sing and dance to her to confuse her, weaken the timberwolf mind just enough for the the real Rose to come forth, while she is distracted, Star will capture her with her magic in a magic bubble like she did with me. Elusive will go save Steven. We hold her there in the bubble, until we can figure out a way for her to return to normal, or we wait for her to transform to her oldself at Dawn! "

Renjay: ".... that does make sense Kodi. And it seems a little less dangerous that blindly charging at her with magic."

Elusive: "What if this doesn't work Koden? We need another plan."

Koden:" If that doesn't work, we run. All of us. We find a place to camp in the forest, and then find her in the morning."

Sigma: "Seems like we got no choice, I say... let's give it a shot."

Koden: "Ok.... here's the distraction. I dance, Renjay plays the banjo, and Sigma sings. Lolly will crash her symbols, and we just act all crazy."

Elusive: "This will never work Koden..."

Koden:"Trust me. She'll come through, for a brief moment maybe, but i've been doing a lot of thinking about this, and this should work!"

Star:" I got the spell ready!"

Lolly: "OH BOOYYYY!! Let's do this!!" *pulls out her symbols.*

Meanwhile, Steven lay helpless on the ground, his left wing screaming with pain. He was panting hard, he and Rose had been fighting for a while. He tried his best to be gentle with her, knocking her around by the waters of the lake and giving her a few scratches as warning. He knew he couldn't unleash his full power on her, for she wasn't a true timberwolf, just a scared pony trapped in the curse of one. He wasn't friends with her no, he hardly knew her, but he knew better than to cripple a defenseless pony.

She put her clawed hoof on his chest, and bared her fangs at him, wanting more blood. He bared his fangs back at her and growled a loud demon snarl.

Rose was about to bite his neck, when the sound of symbols crashed in the air. Her timberwolf ears perked up, and her eyes locked onto..... PONIES>... lots of them!

There was a big purple dragon-hybrid, a furry grey dragon-hybrid, a small pegasus-like pony with a banjo, and a chocolate colored earth-pony with symbols. She snarled, ready to charge, but Steven nipped at her shoulders to distract her.

Koden was wearing a grass skirt and was swinging his hips. Sigma stomped the ground, Renjay was striking the bajo strings, and Lolly began to crash the symbols.

Steven was shocked.... those ponies came here!? NO! This was too ricky! His ears were picking up more Timberwolf paws pounding the ground, but they were far off for now, but they wouldn't be for long.

Rose just stared, listening to these ponies sing, and play and watching them dance. She snarled.... but a smile was slowly creeping across her features. Star was slowly sneaking up behind her, her horn glowing and ready.

Steven winced as a paw and hoof gripped his shoulders. He looked behind him to see the Prince. Elusive was slowly moving him away from Rose. She was wagging her tail, and she started to laugh! The laugh was a real creepy, deep laugh, half Rose and half Timberwolf howl.

Steven: "You ponies shouldn't have come here! it's dangerous! She called more timberwolves! they'll be here soon!"

Elusive: "Really?!"

Steven: "We have to move! NOW!"

Elusive: "Not without Rose."

Steven: " There's nothing we can do for her! The only way is to let the spell run its course. We have to wait till morning when the spell wears off, but even then she has two more nights of this to go. Those ponies better finish getting her quick then, before we're finished."

Koden wagged his tail back and forth and stood on his hind legs, and continued to sing with Sigma. Renjay played the banjo harder, it was extremely squeaky and bad, but it was working. Lolly was bouncing around, dancing and laughing, playing the symbols.

Rose clapped her claws hooves and howled with delight, seeming to come back to her normal self for a brief moment, before Star quickly snatched her up with her magic. A bubble formed around Rose, and she was hovered into the air. Timberwolf rage consumed her, and she howled with anger, clawing at the bubble.

Star:" We did it! We did it!"

Renjay: "AH RIGHT!!!" *slams the banjo on the ground and breaks it, then proceeds to dance*

Sigma: *cheers* But then asks: "Uhhhhh..... Ren where did you get the banjo?"

Renjay: "I found it in the bushes by the mud...."

Sigma:"Ohhhh.... but then where did Lolly get the symbols?"

Lolly: " I always bring my special symbols! Koden knows this! We were so good! Great dance moves Koden!"

Koden: *blushes* "Thanks! I told you it'll work!"

Star: "Now what?"

Elusive: "Now we get out of here, Steven informed me of more timberwolfs coming!"

As he mentioned that, howls erupted from the forest. Rose's wolf friends were arriving soon.

Sigma: "Which way is out though?!"

The friends now had a new problem, they've contained Rose, but how would they get out of the forest before the other timberwolves would arrive?!

AT LONG LAST!!!!! I had a hard time with this one LOL. Took me a while to find the right idea/solution. Hope it was worth the wait! This was a blast to do ^~^ ON GOES THE FUN!!!!! XD
