The more I read about this character, the more he grows at me.
I'd say that what I like the most, maybe in particular, is the fact that his personality really contrasts what you'd find in the usual stories.

Awesome ref, as the one that you did of Talan. I like the fact that you keep the format of it. He looks beautiful and really cool with that color combination, which is one of my favourites. His scorpion tail is a very original feature and with his acid breath makes him have a great defense and attack. I think that what I like the most of him is that good and kind spirit, wanting to be much better than her.
