(Alternate title: Journey to Screaming Snot Mountain )

This one took forever (I kept adding stuff as I was goimg along), but all the extra detail made it worth the effort.

So much for watching your rear . The hair and armor are amazing, as usual. Awesome work.

completely cool coloring as usual and I really love the armor, even if it's impractical, it's still great looking. Though I'm guessing that angry look on her face is because she has a wedgie

That might be it.

Facial expressions are a bit difficult to define at an odd side angle like that (for me at least. ) I just went with the first one that didn't look completely off.

why does this not have any cooments? i love how it looks simple yet so detailed at the same time (if that makes any sense) this is a great piece and i think u have a great style.

Thank you.

I know what you mean.... that's pretty much what I'm aiming for. I try to incorporate as many simple, well-defined shapes as I can and just build on top of them. There's just some odd quality to how the basic geometry comes through.

So, I Googled 'Impractical MALE Armor'--and just like that, too--and THIS is what I find?

Seriously, does the whole damn world really think that only women wear impractical armor in fantasy? Because it really seems that way.

Yeah, especially considering the standard sword and sorcery garb for guys used to be little more than a loincloth and boots.

I think it comes down to (mostly male) artists satiating their own taste in eye-candy; but I do agree there should be more that appeals across the board. There's always the Vallejo pulp fantasy covers to go back to (for both, of course.)
