In life,I've never hoped for much.
Never really dreamed.
For fear of let down.
Never dreamt of a family
Of my own.
Proms and homecomings
Just happened.
Though there is one thing,
And it's hard to let it go,
One dream,
One hope.
To see my brother again,
The way he used to be
The way I know he could be.
And everyday I hurt.
I've learned from his mistakes,
And so much alike we are
And yet,
So different.
My only hope,
And as it seems,
I fear will never
Come true.
I'll never see him
As the beautiful person
I know he is
Deep down.
Because any hope
I've ever had
Just always seems
To always go awry.
And it kills
every day.
Deep inside,
The pain.
Too much to bare
Too much to cover
I can't any more
I won't any more.
And all I have to say any more
Is only one thing.
