Five hours is quick, huh...? Well, for this quality, that amount of time is justified. Great work! I really like how you depicted the reflection and eyelashes.
Eyes really are fun to draw, aren't they?

haha, Thank you so much yes, i never get tired of drawing eyes
I dont usually finish drawing in one sitting. But this was 5 hours continuous, so i felt it was a quick one

There's a lot of creative freedom, what with how varied and colorful eyes are.
Ahhh, I see. Personally I need to finish most art in one sitting, else I might get too lazy to finish. Or when I do get back to it, I might have forgotten what colors I was using, or my style becomes inconsistent depending on my mood, haha.

I have those difficulties too..! but i am way too lazy to finish it in one sitting, if something went wrong or if i couldn't draw what i was expecting, i will stop right there so i have so many incomplete drawings to my account
i have to change this habit though !

amazing!!!!!
i recently saw your response for my question, thank you very much.
there are many artists who draw similar to you. check them out too, Dinotomic , Heather Rooney and Morgan Davidson.
I'M in 12th standard my parents just agreed to get me pencil colors, but i'm really confused and no one to guide me.
I have these options-
Cretacolor karmina 72 rs.3000 (seeing you adele drawing, give me som hint about there blending skills)
cretacolor marino 24 rs.1600 ( drawings of dinotomic, they are watersoluble)
i'm really happy my parents increased range to 3000, if i ask them prismacolor , they will kick me out of house!
Help me!!

Cretacolor karmina is good. it can never be compared to prismacolors though..... They can be blended well too. But they are a bit hard to blend. Burnishing dont work that well too.. some of their colors are less intense. especially the reds and black. Blues and greens are good. they are highly pigmented. you wont get that bright poppy red with cretacolors. but i have only 36 color set. 72 colors would be just fine. if you can save a little more, you will get 24 prismacolor set for about 4000. that would be better than 72 colored creta. But if you are really into drawing portraits, cretacolor is more than enough. since it is harder than prismas, they can be used for fine detailing. my drawing of adele and 'eye' is made with cretacolor.
i dont know how well are the cretacolor marino though.
Prismacolors feels like it is something between a pencil and oil pastel.

thank you very much for your guidance, and soon i will be getting my first set of colors, them if i'm able to make some money through contests i will definately go for prismas.
thanks and best of luck for your next portrait.

It looks digitally drawn, for some reason.
It still looks amazing, though. xD
