Description Drawing fruits are real fun and easy. Among them the easiest ones are shiny fruits like cherries and apples. So i am starting the fruits series with the easiest - 'cherries'!

using prismacolor pencils and distilled turpentine for burnishing.

Time taken -- 1 hour 50 minutes

hi, i was wondering if i could use you as an example of an artist for my gcse art work. I am doing my art exam around fruit and need to find some example artists, I would love to feature your work as i think you are very talented and all i would need is your name and permission to print out your pictures to show as an example. I understand if you don't give permission for this but it would be a really big help, please let me know! thanks

I have used nothing particularly to make it shiny. The color variations and small highlights make it look shiny thats all. and burnishing with turpentine helped a lot to achieve very smooth lay-down. as you can see in the video turpentine dissolves the pencil strokes and make it very even.
