You have succeeded in expressing the meaning of negative space in this piece of art and the anime style you used is really good but you need to work on the fingers.
The eyes, especially the eyes, are drawn really well and have the most impact on me becuase they show sadness, and neglect which is a good aspect in your piece. The mask is a good symbol of her depression although it is a drawn with a very simple style.
