You know what they say about the grass always looking greener on the other side
The town I live in is a bit of a modern concrete jungle, but it's surroundes by beautiful countryside and quaint little villages ... I think it's compensation for having to live here

You are probably right but I would love the villages and countryside. Not too keen on city life. Give me forests with trees such as yours, rolling hills..... (drooling now!)

My mother was raised in a very rural part of Wiltshire and we used to visit there every summer. Imagine the horror of no plumbing! I remember turning my nose up at a supposed outside loo that consisted of a a piece of wood the size of a table top with two round holes cut out of it. One whole was for 'spending a penny' in, the other was for you know what. I gather there was buckets underneath. The so-called domesticated pets were ferral and dogs would have to be locked up in sheds when we visited (they could not be trusted not to bite children). My relatives there had names like Cousin Sis ... the place seemed stuck in a time warp I'd happily live in the country, but on the condition it has plumbing!

Oh girl, me too. No outhouses for me. I have trouble with port-a-potties. But outhouses conjure up spiders lurking about. So yeah, I agree with you, give me indoor plumbing or I am staying put! My grandfather was born in Burnley. I have never been there. Hope to, someday. Same with Ireland, where my mother's other side of the family come from. Someday when my ship comes in....

Nice tree... I want a tree like that! Heh--I get lost in the woods easily too. The trick is to follow the music and stay away from the logs with light in them... ( Wait--Non-zelda fans won't get this, will they? ^_^;; )

Speaking of Zelda, I used your stock for a fairy piece. It was the perfect scene. :: [link]

Thank you for the lovely stock!

Hehehe, I used to play Zelda ... I'll go and check that link

OK ... I figured that I need to check the link before hitting submit on this comment. It's early morning and I'm still half asleep.

You made great use of the stock, I wouldn't have recognised it

That'd be a fun tree to climb, it looks like.

It was so much fun taking pics in the forest yesterday. Luckilly D had paid attention to the route we'd taken. I think I'd quite easily find myself lost if I was on my own (too busy looking at trees rather than where I was going).

:giggles: I've done that one a few times. Too busy paying attention to my surroundings except what's in front of me. I've kissed a few trees that way, but fortunately there were only witnesses once, and I just pretended that I wanted to fondle the bark anyways, so I did.
