Living Dead Dolls Inktober 2020

Canary was one of my favorites that I did in the initial set. I thought she looked like a good companion to her series sister Coalette .

When I first did these, I was trying to do one a day for Inktober, so my methods were more loose and quick. I loved using watercolor marker to build up color fast, then add more refinement on top. So a lot of the first several I did lean heavier into this medium, with pencils more secondary. This has its benefits but tends to not be great for retaining details from the drawing. In the ones I've done more recently, and in other art I've been doing as well, I'm taking a lot more time with watercolor pencils first and just using the markers for things like shading. Of all the early ones that used more marker, Coalette and Canary were probably the best executed.
