F-5E-NO, 73-1636 assigned to the 64th FWS, 57th FWW based at Nellis AFB and seen TDY at Luke AFB in June 1985.

The 64th FWS aircraft carried red 'Bort' numbers on the nose of the jet. It is interesting to note that due to the similar serial numbers between FY 1973 and 1974, the FY 1973 jets carried a three digit nose number reflecting the last two or three digits of the USAF serial number.

For some reason I really like this shot of a overall silver paint scheme such as many Soviet Air Force MiG-21s carried in the 1970s and 1980s.
