I got to meet Pappy Boyington one year at the Plans of Fame Museum airshow in Chino. What a character that guy was.

I imagine so! BTW, the 8 TFS "Black Sheep" had no relationship with Pappy's VMF-214 "Black Sheep".

yea I know, Pappy was USMC, but the nick struck upon that memory. I think they just had a show at March AFB. Today there is an organized motorcycle ride ending at the Riverside Veterans Cemetery in honor of those who've given their lives.
