Description
F-14A 158994 assigned to VF-301, CVWR-30 getting launched out for an ACM sortie from Luke AFB in November 1985.The Plane Captain is walking around the jet performing various checks to ensure the jet is safe and the systems are operating correctly.
This unit was one of the two west coast reserve F-14 squadrons. They were based at NAS Miramar.
The Navy crews were very tolerant of me being around during Launch ops. This was taken w/ a 50MM lens.
