"Its nice to take a trip with the dragon sometimes."Piece I did for the Hand Drawn Graphics competition at The Gathering, Can't really say I'm too happy with it, but eh, I'm satisfied with the rendering, If only the subject was more interesting and the composition better.
The results from the competition was revealed to be a close 6th place with 719 votes. 6-7 votes from the 5th place.

I love your colour choice there! And that texturing is great, everything looks so solid!
I guess one teeny thing, I'm not sure if the main focus is the luggage in the air, or the character....on the one hand the character's more detailed but on the other hand the luggage really stands out from the sky and is really nice to look at, especially with the lovely light source from the sunset so close to it @_@;
Maybe if the character was coloured in a way they lets them stand out more from the dragon, or somehow keeping the most attractive light source near your character?
But it's a great work, congrats on your high ranking!

Not really much of a planner. But I'm not against doing some pieces. Maybe this summer.
