Probably partially rendered things in the distance. The sun goes down rather quickly in Minecraft, so a shot might not always be fully rendered.

it's sad that it doesn't snow anymore, it just creates a layer of snow and ice, it doesn't re-freeze the area

I have OP in the server I hang out on so I can spawn Snow tiles, but yeah. the snow should also build up over time, as IRL, and maybe even use Fluid dynamics to make the shape, but feel like stairblocks or something...I think that would give snow landscapes a very realistic style. and the Biome area's should be 2 or 3 times as big as today's settings.

I tried to blur out the ugly dotted area in the horizon, beyond Rendering distance. I might make another one, as every sunset is beutiful in Minecraft...
