This one is actually kind of a Frankenstein, in the way that the left side of this image (Gambit) was completed I think roughly one and a half years ago?
Rogue on the other hand didn't even show up on the radar until several months back. But it had always been conceptualized as a dyptich, so it wasn't really any trouble putting the two together.
I kinda wish I'd have made the color scheme a little less cliche, but oh well. Live and learn.
Gambit was drawn by Dave Igo and the background as well as Rogue was drawn by Kris Anka .
Colored in Photoshop.
The sculptures used for reference were done by Tony Cipriano (with Tim Hanson for Gambit's coat). They did awesome work, needless to say.
Gambit and Rogue are property of Marvel Comics.

Screw the websites. Get a program (Photoshop, Painter, Gimp, whatever you can find / afford) and just go to town.
Study nature, study real life, and just keep drawing.
The computer is like the number one medium where you have no reason to be afraid. Just go. It's not the tools, it's the artist. Always remember that. :]
