... i drew this drawing at a local "punk" show at the Brick. it was cold and snowy outside. as i was arriving to the show, their was two super skinny crackhead friends hanging outside the door. One of the crackheads was just completely out of control. He was falling down in the snow and he only had one shoe on. I stood out there and talked to them. While i was thus standing there socializing, the out of control crackhead suddenly starts lunging towards me. i was a bit skittish about people just suddenly lunging towards me because i got a knife pulled on me a few months ago. so i instinctively shoved the guy in the chest really hard. he quickly fell to the sidewalk and cracked his head smack into the concrete with an audible thud. blood starts leaking out of his head. I didn't mean to hurt him, it was just an instant reflex thing that happened. I felt bad about it. The dude got up and was walking around with a bleeding face and pretty soon the cops and ambulance got called. he was yelling fuck off and flipping the bird as they strapped him to the ambulance stretcher and took him away. I went in and watched the show and drew this drawing.
