Might I ask, what was your setup for this photo? I have alot of Geodes that I keep trying to take photos of. Problem is they end up with very low contrast between crystals...

I simply put my geode in the sunlight and shot the photo so that the reflection was close to the edge.
Then I darkened the background and slightly enhanced the contrast and the colors.
