This sword I like! Could use a slightly thinker grip though.

Given my misspelling, and when I wrote this comment, I'm not sure what I was thinking.

I would guess Terry Goodkinds "Sword of Truth" series of novels.

I know this comment is literally years old but it's from the TV show, which has a huge amount of details different from the novels, the novels have the word truth on the hilt of the sword unlike this sword based on the TV Show where it had it on the blade. (TV Show was called Legend of the Seeker)

Yeah, I watched the TV series....but that was long after I read all the books multiple times.Β I guess I watched the series just to pick it apart.Β It was horrible! LOL

I agree. Β Terry Goodkind was HIGHLY descriptive in painting mental images of his world. Β The details of the Sword Of Truth were very clear to the reader. Β The TV series took a great deal of "creative liberty" in diverging from the books. Β At best, it's only a shadow of the glory contained within the books. Β I found it greatly lacking. Β

I liked it, but I consider it a completely separate universe, too much different to even call the books the inspiration for it.
