Here's the original: [link]I decided to give this a try. I've been terribly artblocked and stressed about figuring out my style.. I just haven't been comfortable or satisfied nearly as much as I used to be. I'm experimenting a lot, and it's taken a toll on me, really, because I just can't figure out who I am as an artist. I'm bordering, at the moment, between cartoony-style, and realism, and I can't decide where I'm most comfortable. ): So, to distract myself, I found this. It was very fun, and I'm super glad I did it - granted, near the end, it was a bit more like work than something enjoyable, but I'm glad I pushed through and finished. xP Everyone should try this, it really helped me figure out Faith's facial movements and such.

funny u should say that: im stuck between those two styles as well. i love drawing something a bit more realistic, and have spent a lot of time lately studying 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
and yet, i cant help but want to become better at drawing something more casually, cartoony ~

Exactly! It's difficult what kind of path I want to choose, and the inbetween is hard to reach. I see cartoony styles that I simply adore, and I feel like cartoony styles are faster to do, in terms of shading and whatnot, because you can just cell shade. But I enjoy painting immensely, and I also see realism styles that are very creative and original. Sometimes cartoony stuff stresses me out because I hate doing line art and "right in the line" coloring. Ugh! So stressful!
