Today I chilled out and painted a sketch I made earlier of a group of Farools. It was a relaxing Sunday.Feel free to make up a narrative here. I'm curious to know what you folks believe is happening.

My narrative for the Farool picture is that the rabbit looking gent is a bit of a 'nerd', and has not had much luck with the ladies. He is not particularly fluffy or flashy. His attractive, cattish friend there agreed to give him a make over -- hense the paint and the floofy leg warmers -- and take him out to pick up chicks. I'm not sure if he flirted with -everything- and thus offended the belle of the bal or if there was just a sexy, fertile female interested in him prior to his dolling up, but this scene amusingly depicts him flirting with a much more 'manly' girl while the hot lady storms out. In fact I'd like to think he's flirting with his hot friend's masculine sister/cousin...maybe he just secretly fancies his friend xD

Wow, I loved the design for these creatures originally, but dang you really made them wonderful. Okay, so, what I think is happening is the more bunny-like male with the nice accessory is showing off to the dark, marbled female, and she thinks he looks a bit silly with his tough face on, while the pale male thinks he looks adorable showing off like that, the pale one probably has a bit of a crush on the bunny, but the left female is upset that these two guys decided to burst in on the females' little outing. Besides, all of this showing off is stupid, and she is not amused.

1 and 3 just had a competition of nonspecific machismo, with the "stakes" being 2. (sounds horrible, but this is machismo we're talking about) 4 was hanging out on the sidelines out of bemusement, and also happens to know 3. 3 wasw apparently the winner, if 1's storming off in a huff is any indication.

They're not /exactly/ taurs. In fact they'd probably be insulted at being compared to centaurs (farool are more passive by nature than centaurs).
However yeah they're fundamentally just my indulgent blend-a-critter things.

Hehe, I wasn't calling them centaurs, but taurs. It's a blanket term to describe all quadrupedal creatures who have an upper torso where a head normally is. I should know as I'm a taur, myself, lol: [link]
