Prompt 3: "The Greatest Show!"

Large red curtains, a fleeting figure in the night, and a spotlight trained on his name.

This was all a part of a much bigger scheme than North had first anticipated. As soon as he entered the theater, there was too much to look at. A cackling shadow stood on the stage surrounded by enchanted scissors. Chases between tools and dolls flashing before his eyes. Screams and shouts of the ensnared echoing between the high walls.

North immediately dove into a place of shelter, somewhere he could escape unwelcome gazes and collect his thoughts. He slunk backstage, hoping to get a better understanding of the chaos that filled the theater. As he travelled, he found himself standing before thick, red curtains. There dangled two kamishibas, their limbs being pulled by what looked to be a tool to control puppets, enchanted with some sort of magic as they moved on their own. Most likely the handiwork of the one behind it all. Then, hanging at the top of curtains, North noticed one of those same controllers with his name inscribed on it.

His heart sank at the sight. Glancing between the captured dolls, his controller, and the commotion going on behind him, North fixed his mind to one job. There were already those that were after the mastermind so he could stay here and deal with these tools. Breaking them before they laid their strings on other kamis should be simple enough.

At last, all the prompts for the Halloween event are done! u v u )//

I thought I'd do something a little different and try pixeling a scene for the finale! I'm not too sure how I feel about it, but there's definitely a lot to learn in terms of larger, more detailed pixel pieces haha ;;

Excited to see how this all ends as usual, particularly what's inside those mystery boxes! Good luck to everyone entering <3
