- they only live in family group in nesting period. the rest of the time they live alone.

- Common rainbird can sound like a airscrew when calling out for other rainbirds. they can also be calling out to other creatures as a warning with the same noise.

- they most live on seeds and corn.

- they are very common in having as a pet. they can learn to talk but normally only bond with one person since they are not social creatures in the wild.
