- Nian is a domesticated version of an extinct Long jaw dog. they wild version were not as colorful as the domesticated one and their skeletons shown that they possible looked fairly like each other.

- Nian is one of the oldest domesticated dog breed on Anuvina. there are proof that the dog breed is around 5000 years old and were mostly breed as a showdog.

- they were first breed in the northern part of Backland. they can be found on every continent in modern times.

- they can come in all types of pattern, although they are mostly seen with red, purple, yellow, orange, black and white colors. green and blue are extreme rare colors and they are sold for the double of their normal price.

- Nian have curly hair which needs to be groomed daily if you wants it to keep its silky feel. a lot show judges looks after this to confirm the dog is treated well.

- they are not good pets around kids. they do not like high sounds and is bit of a lazy dog breed. owners should be aware that this dog breed are best in calm environments.

- owner should also be aware of their jaw bites. they have a lot of force in bite down and you should never stick your hand inside this dogs mouth unless you fully trust it. the bite force can clip off fingers. they don't have a lot of bite force when opening the mouth.

- Nian is only a popular dog with single or elderly people. they are not good around families. because of the long history of this breed; it also cost a lot to own this type of dog.
