the warmness of Hotland didn't get any better when the sisters looked towards a giant structure in the distance surrounding by lava. Nightangel looked curious at the building and then asked;
"what is that-?"

like Alphys have heard them, she called over Nightangel phone

"S-see that building in the distance?" she ask

"hard not to see" Vildtiger's voice dripped with sarcasm. since Alphys didn't say anything(she probably tried to find something to say at Vildtiger's comment) back, Vildtiger quickly asked "what is that thing?"

"that's the core" Alphys said quickly, she sounded a little eager and nervous "the source of all power for the underground. it converts geothermal energy into magical electricity, by..." she stopped herself like she have seen the sisters utterly confused expressions. she cleared her throat and said "uhh, anyway, that's where we're going to go."

"it looks like a place you shall stay the heck away" Vildtiger thought out loud and Nightangel notice how her tail swiped uncomfortable from side to side

"uhh... blame the o-one wh-who build it... he was-" Alphys mumbled in the phone but quickly stopped herself like she realized what she just said. "a-anyway inside the Core there is an elevator directly to Asgore's castle"
she ended the phone conservation. the sisters glace at each other.

"wonder what she mean with that?" Nightangel thought out loud frowning

"what of it?" Vildtiger asked

"the one who build it. you say that the Core was a place which looks quit ominous and she mention something about the one who build it" Nightangel told, then she asked her frowning sister "is he a dangerous person?"

"if he is, I think we need to stay faaaar away from him" Vildtiger snorted, her ears suddenly stood vertical up in the air when she notice a very tall goopy monster watching the Core with a almost sad expression, but it was hard to be sure because of his 'goopyness'. what surprise Vildtiger most is that he didn't stand there for a minute ago "it's you again, how did you come here?" she asked the monster they met for the first time in that odd room in Waterfall.

the tall(almost skeletal-looking) monster turned his head which could have snapped a man's neck and looked at them with something there could be surprise. Vildtiger gave him a lazy wave and he waved slowly back like he was confused over her friendly gesture.

"hey....did need some fresh air?" Nightangel asked him friendly

the goopy monster huffed and didn't look very pleased with this question. he didn't try to talk with them this time, instead he make handmove towards his head like his hand was a fan which tried to cool him down. this handmove obvious meant 'very hot' and then he pointed at the Undergrounds ceiling

"uh.... guess there is not much fresh air down here and yeah, this place is intolerable hot" Vildtiger grinned sheepish, he only gave her a look which could mean 'no kidding'. "why are you here then?" she asked

he looked at the Core and then at them again

"the Core? do you heading that way too?" Nightangel asked. he shrugged in a way which could mean 'not sure yet' or 'I don't know'. Nightangel tried again "okay, do you know who build it?"

some kind of way the monster grew smaller like he hunched over in bad memories. he looked very sad

"did you know him?" Vildtiger asked. he turned his head slightly away from them. the white light in his eyes have turned into a sad purple "sorry, if it a sour topic, we didn't know he was dead"

he ignored her, it didn't look like he wanted to 'talk' to them anymore. the sisters decided to leave him alone

"alright... sorry again for your friend topic" Nightangel muttered to him before walking after her sister. the monster meet her eyes with a unreadable expression. he watched her when she walked up to her sister. both of them turned to look one more time at him.....

but he was gone

look who is back-okay and now he's gone again
glad I only shall draw the Core once.... it took WAY longer to draw that thing than it should have
