well, I don't know which kind of drawing program you use, but I use Painttool SAI to most of my work.
you could also use Photoshop, but that almost cost an arm to buy.

For my digital stuff I only ever use MS paint
I did that too once, but one of my friends convince me to use SAI because she meant that Paint hold me back.
