I love this one! It's so whimsical, but still really realistic. The reflection is perfect, and I like the addition of the kitten and the can. All around, beautiful job!

Thanks! I actually started this one with the intent to make it "black and white", but then later decided to add a bit of colour, like those old B&W photos that they add colour to. The funny thing is, I have a tendency to use a limited pallette more and more lately. I just finished another watercolour, and essentially, I used 4 colours and a bit of black! Quite amazing what you can do with so little. Will post the new photo soon, if you intend to look back.

Thank you!! This is one of my favorite paintings, but done so long ago... I have recently started paining again, and have experimented with acrylics and oils again, but I think my true love really does lie with watercolours. I have a few more in mind!!

Thank you very much! Actually, I added the cat on a whim... I just love how playful kittens can be, and you can see how this one is just itching to get that shiny object dancing in the water... but... oh no - there's water!!

Thanks so much! It is one of my more favorite paintings. It is from a black and white photo of my brother, and the cat I added in just for the heck of it! I thought it brought a bit of extra "oomph" to the whole layout!!
