My last of the seven-strong series of Cynder pictures i recently made!   my rendition of what i want her to look like while evil! But there are some things i want to share about my head cannon/observations i've made on her while she was evil...

The reason this is titled "Oblivious Abuse" is because Cynder thought she was fine and being treated well, when really Gaul only saw her as a tool and a weapon of war -- same with Malefor. Yes, the majority of the ape army obeyed her, but they were probably told to do so by Gaul.
        I think the biggest thing for me about the fact that she was abused is that immediately upon hatching, she was corrupted and made a slave of hatred. I mean how much sadder can it get??? They put her in chains, corrupted her, forced her body to grow at an unnatural pace -- which probably hurt like hell; this is some scary and twisted stuff, man so i personally feel like she should have had some mutations as a result of the magic-enduced growth. For starters, it's obvious that she had eight horns as a monster but only six when normal. Her neck was also VERY long, her wing thumb blades faced the wrong way and she just...to me, didn't look quite right.

So i have my own additions and explanation for her STAYING evil without being under Malefor's direct control, and that is that in her transformation, Gaul managed to fuze several small, flat dark crystal's into her scales in different parts of her body, and the dark crystals were what held in the magic that kept her mentally unstable, irritable, impatient, moody and just...well...bad. I also believe these crystals are what kept her so enormous, holding the evil magic within her. In my head cannon, Spyro defeating her in Convexity was basically his raw power utterly destroying all the crystals in her body and freeing her, restoring her to a normal ten-year-old state.
    I mentioned that her wing thumbs faced the wrong way. This probably did not cause her any pain, but i see the end result being that there are veins that can be seen bulging out and twisting from the front of the thumb to the palm, a sign of mutation. Also, you'll see in my recent Cynder works that i've added small claws to the tips of her wing fingers. In my head cannon, a mutation shows those claws are unnaturally sized and ultra sharp.
         Something else i see going wrong is her tail blade being a bit too big, requiring extra tail muscle to be able to lift and swing it around, or even use it as a deadly weapon in combat. I also made her regular claws a bit longer than they should be; another mutation.
         I feel like they made Cynder a decent size for a monster in the game, but her being so SKINNY kind of took away her being huge. So for my story, i draw her thicker (as i do anyway) and make her even a bit bigger than they portrayed in the game. i just like it that way ^^
        And ultimately, as a sign of ownership, they made her wear those silver shackles. i see them being polished and designed for her to look like fine, sinisterly beautiful jewelry so that she wouldn't know the difference. I also added a few more rings closer toward the end of her tail, well....because i like it XD

            So yes, this i smy version of corrupted Cynder. trying to look at it more realistically and added my own thing to it. If you don't like it, i can't help that XD
