THEY HAVE NAMES TOO.
I'm so proud of the creators you have no idea
Some games -- and even MOVIES don't name background or minor characters, and the makers of these games at least named the moons.
Granted it's never mentioned in the game, but neither are the names of Spyro and Sparx's parents, but they're still a thing.
I was actually about to name the moons myself when i considered they might have names on wiki.
Just thought i'd share that, it will come in handy with something i'm working on

Yep, the names are even labelled on the image gallery page of one of the concept artists for TEN.

I've got a headcanon about these moons, it's complicated though as it deals with orbital mechanics and magic. I thought I'd try to explain what happened durng an eclipse and what happened during other celestrial events
