Hmm, geez, thank you so much! I don't know if I command color well enough yet, haha. I'm still learning but it's a matter of observing works you admire from other artists and applying them. I know that might sound too generic, but that is really all there is to it! For example, if you love the color, shading and lighting in this piece, make a similar piece with the same color and lighting. Search for reference photos of sunset and someone being lit from behind. I hope that helps!!
