I do understand the last one though, from their perspective. It can be hard to have to wade through hundreds of people's art because you watch so many people, so if someone looks at your art and goes "I like a lot of your stuff! But I just don't think I like all of it consistently enough to watch you, I would rather only watch less people but instead be their active watcher and leave favorites and comments on a regular consistent basis", well... Don't feel bad. It still means they like your art very much. But on DeviantArt, there's simply too much content to watch every single person whose art you *kinda* like. If you watch 700 people, you'll never actually look at their art. You just ignore things they post because all of their art gets lost in the sea of "Watch List" notifications. I know this, because this is exactly why I don't watch people sometimes even if I think they have nice art. I can like your art and leave tons of nice feedback, but if it doesn't inspire me or feel particularly special to me *personally*, if it doesn't move me, then I just won't watch you. It's never personal. In fact: If I'm going through the effort of favoriting a bunch of your stuff and leaving loads of constructive comments, I find it rather bratty for someone to get upset about it just because I decided not to watch them. What about the fact that I just took time out of my day to go through your gallery, favorite the pictures I found appealing, and wrote detailed comments about them? I don't think that should go unnoticed. And frankly, I'm offended that you would put someone like that, a nice commenter who obviously likes your art and tried to show their genuine appreciation for it, in the same category as someone who tries to get free art out of you. People who try to pester you to give them free art are the absolute lowest life forms on this planet. To be put in the same category is simply insulting.

its more of a thing of its a repeat offense. when they constantly do it over and over again yet they never watch o-o
like this one person who gives out "bunnies" on peoples' profiles for having good art while never actually watching them. she gave me four of them before i asked her to stop.
or the people who come by, spam fav tons of things with comments. then come back a week later and repeat the same process. wouldn't it just be easier to be notified when i post something rather than having to manually go to my profile page and look through my recent works?
